For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. Romans 12:3
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This week we decided just to show you “humble service in the body of Christ”.
Romans 12:…4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function…
Blessed to have many members prepared to serve the body!
…5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Welcome! All are family here!
…6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.
With masks in short supply, we went to work to protect our patrons and volunteers. 
…If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;
…if it is serving, then serve;
Patrons pick up lunch 
Curbside 
Carry out 
AND drive-thru.
…if it is teaching, then teach;
Lunches are… 
Prepared 
Plated 
…. and ready to serve!
…8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement;
Food truck arrives… 
is unloaded…
…and boxes are put together for distribution.
…if it is giving, then give generously;
Food truck forms are filled out and collected. 
…if it is to lead, do it diligently;
Our Pastors direct traffic as patrons arrive. 
AND…if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

As the day comes to a close we have used our gifts “in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of us.”

Stephannie Shelton
Stephannie and her husband Doug have been volunteering at Cafe Central for 6 years. They moved from Colorado to Milledgeville Georgia in 2015. That year during Sunday service, the announcement that Cafe Central needed extra help for their Thanksgiving service, brought them for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. They have now served weekly since January 2016. Doug is the volunteer coordinator and member of the Cafe Central Board. Stephannie just likes to talk to, and about, the “family” Cafe Central has become.
